Harold Moody was an activist to stop racism. He was born in Jamaica. He did his best to end racism.
Harold Moody was a doctor in Britain. But in Jamaica where he was born he was faced with racism. That motivated him into trying to stop racism. But as a doctor he saved many lives as well. Also when he got faced with racism he wanted to end it immediately. Also he went to Britain to study medicine.
Harold Moody was in the League of Colored People. He also was one the founders of the League of Colored People. He wanted to end racism in a ton of ways. He wanted racism to end in Britain. But also he wanted racism to end around the world.
Not many people know that Harold Moody did amazing things. Those things aren't really appreciated by people because some people didn't know who he was. But people know Martin Luther King Jr because he was more famous around the world. What makes him an unsung hero is that like what I just said. Also he tried to stop racism. One more thing that makes him an unsung hero is that I have never heard of him till this.

I enjoyed how you explained a bit about the life of Harold Moody. I definitely agree that he is an unsung hero, and isn't as talked about compared to people such as Martin Luther King Jr., or Rosa Parks. Is he still alive today?

DeleteI didn't know who Harold moody was. I though it was cool how he was brave enough to try an stop racism, even though he knew very bad things could happen in the process, what was one thing he did to stop racism?

ReplyDeleteHarold Moody was quite the fighter. I agree that he is an unsung hero, because I hadn't heard of him until I read this blog. How long and for what years was Harold Moody an activist during his lifetime?
